A small crew with a big taste.
Thats how we make our films.

Syrup is a creative production collective working with brands and creative agencies to bring ideas to life through film and photography.
The foundation of Syrup was shaped over years of working across different roles, teams, and types of productions. From broadcast and online work to brand films, campaigns, and fast-moving digital content, this experience built a clear understanding of how ideas move from concept to execution.
Over time, it became clear that the way ideas were developed didn’t always match the way productions were set up.
That insight led to Syrup. Not as a traditional production house, but as a new generation production house led by filmmakers and built to collaborate closely with brands and creative agencies.

Our style is inspired by cinema and shaped by internet culture. A combination of the classic craft and the influence of the pace, formats, and viewing habits of modern platforms, we create work that feels relevant, intentional, and made for how people actually watch today.
We work with a small core team and a trusted network of collaborators, assembling the right crew for each project instead of forcing a fixed structure onto every production. This allows us to move efficiently, adapt where needed, and stay focused on translating ideas into strong visual stories.
The goal is always the same: turn strong ideas into visual work that stands up and stands out.

Flow

01
Concept
We like to be involved early, starting with a clear understanding of the brief and the goal of the project. Through conversations with the brand or agency, we make sure the brief is understood and aligned before moving forward. From there, we develop the concept. A written idea that defines the direction of the project. Based on this concept, we create a script and, when needed, a director’s treatment that defines how the project will look. From locations and casting to editing style and music references. This phase shapes and defines the rest of the production, creating a clear foundation for everything that follows.

02
Pre-production
Pre-production is where the concept is translated into a concrete plan. Together with the brand or agency, we make the key decisions that shape the production. From casting and locations to scheduling and logistics. We handle recces, help select models or talent, and build a crew around the idea. Always choosing the right people for the project rather than forcing a fixed setup. Depending on the production, we can take full responsibility or work closely alongside the client’s team. This phase makes sure everything is aligned and prepared, so the production days can run smoothly and efficiently.

03
Production
Production is where everything comes together on set. These are the shoot days where the concept is translated into images, guided by the plan set in pre-production. We lead the production on set, directing, shooting, and coordinating the crew to keep things focused and efficient. Working closely with the brand or agency, we make sure decisions are made quickly and the production stays on track, without losing sight of the idea. This phase is about execution, collaboration, and momentum, making sure the work is captured as intended and ready for post-production.

04
Post-production
Post-production is where the material comes together. From the hero film to shorter cutdowns for social use, we shape the final output based on the concept and the needs of each platform. This phase includes editing, color grading, sound design, and, when the concept calls for it, recording a voice-over. Working closely with the brand or agency, we refine pacing, structure, and details until everything feels aligned and ready for delivery. This is where the production is finalized and prepared for release across the intended channels.
