Dreams don’t stop when the match is over. For Same Dream, we followed athletes Pien Sanders and Lois Abbingh on their way to a European qualification match, talking about upcoming tournaments, past Olympic moments, and how elite sport blends into everyday life.

The film was shot as a moving conversation. With a small, agile crew, one main camera, GoPros, and portable audio, we captured the journey in just a few hours, staying close to the moment rather than staging it. Once inside the stadium, cameras weren’t allowed, so the athletes filmed parts of the evening themselves using a DJI Osmo, giving the story an intimate, first-person feel from inside the stands.

The journey leads to the pitch, where Jackie Groenen is playing that night. Different sports, different paths, the same ambition. All connected by a shared dream, and a DHL van carrying them there.

Alongside the main YouTube film, we produced short vertical edits for Instagram and supporting thumbnails, translating the story into a social-first format without losing its documentary tone.
